Aia Jüdes

Aia Jüdes-Sweden-is a young self-taught photographer with a strong focus on fashion and portraiture. She sees photography as a craft, often working with film and medium format Hasselblad cameras. She also likes to experiment with night photography and alternative light sources. 

Aia was been based in Japan from 2004-2007 and began a a huge photographic project "Tokyo transience" with a wilful mix of poetic portraits and ultra urban cityscapes taken at night.

An exhibition from this project took place at the Östasiatiska Museet in Stockholm in the autumn of 2008.
