Luciano Monti

Luciano Monti was born in 1960 in Este in Italy, where he still lives. He has worked as a photographer for more than 20 years, in the beginng as a portrait photograper, but since 1997 mainly as a landscape photograper. His stunning b&w landscape images are documented in his two books American Landscape (1999) and Italian landscape (2003).

Luciano has been exhibiting his photographs in numerous galleries and museums in Italy and abroad and he has received a number of awards, among them The Kodak Italian Portrait Photographer of the year in 1992-1993 and the Hasselblad Master award in 2003.
